When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Costin Duca sped through Szolnoki MÁV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ottó Szántó. In the 18th minute, Salmuera CP's Costin Duca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ottó Szántó. Costin Duca had several of the Szolnoki MÁV's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 7-0 score and a disappointed Ottó Szántó as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fan Xing Zhou got free with Ottó Szántó in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costin Duca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ottó Szántó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salmuera CP's Valdo Corrêa was substituted for Torcuato Herrero. Emesto Muñagorri struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ruperto Maria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szolnoki MÁV. In the 77th match minute, Szolnoki MÁV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukács Antal to maneuver through the defense. Ottó Szántó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fan Xing Zhou went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute, Tobias Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ottó Szántó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Duca in the 91st minute of the match.
