Horacio Sayveon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexandre Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Santos in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Alexandre Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anak Dewa. Ulysses Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Vítor Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Horacio Sayveon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 28 minutes of play, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Horacio Sayveon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Semih Şentürk in the 43rd minute of play forced E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Alexandre Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zane Wrigley fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calopsita EC's protests and gave Zane Wrigley a yellow card for diving instead. Ulysses Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Sayveon in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Semih Şentürk was the one to do the kick off. In the 75th minute Luisão Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ruy Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulysses Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Sayveon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Horacio Sayveon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulysses Novaes was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
