The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SARI ZEYBEK's Altay Bayındır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Turan Yalazan in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Son Adam in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Barea saved O rey Iván from getting behind. Aristides Barea was a little too slow when Son Adam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to O rey Iván getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Simon Hug hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Son Adam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O rey Iván's Aristides Barea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristides Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Son Adam, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camillo Moriggi got free with Aristides Barea in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in O rey Iván's zone, Oğuz Çetin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Barea came out of the goal and Oğuz Çetin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. O rey Iván's Aristides Barea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save O rey Iván from getting a goal against them. After 26 minutes O rey Iván's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Moon who took care of the corner kick. After 31 minutes of play, O rey Iván's Mihály Fülep made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Altay Bayındır was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Son Adam in the 35th minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Son Adam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Son Adam, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute SARI ZEYBEK were awarded a corner. Abraham Moon went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 43rd minute, Son Adam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristides Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuz Çetin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Altay Bayındır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Fliz in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Fliz to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goal looked a bit too open when Son Adam came free, but Aristides Barea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. O rey Iván's Jacinto Resto was substituted for Modesto Garcia. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by SARI ZEYBEK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Fliz was slow to take the kick. During this time O rey Iván's players had a chance to rest. O rey Iván's Augusto Fliz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Altay Bayındır in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aristides Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Çetin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Son Adam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O rey Iván's Aristides Barea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SARI ZEYBEK's Adama Madama was substituted for Oğuz Çetin. The supporters of O rey Iván booed when SARI ZEYBEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahman Yekta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Reynardo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Karl-Oskar Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihály Fülep in the 92nd minute of play forced SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Altay Bayındır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Peyami Zağanos in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by O rey Iván's Franz Kafka. Altay Bayındır made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Augusto Fliz sent off a good shot on target. SARI ZEYBEK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
