In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Audaz FC's goalkeeper Patric Sandwall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filiph Låsberg hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, Gençlerbirliği was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muharrem Sebih to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sebastian Arainz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Audaz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Arainz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Lacalle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Audaz FC's Patric Sandwall got control of the ball when Ekrem Yay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelino Lacalle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Lekberg in the 22nd minute of the match. When Muharrem Sebih came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Gençlerbirliği fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muharrem Sebih couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilio Garcia in the 30th minute of play forced Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Marcelino Lacalle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Lacalle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Audaz FC made a substitution. Hüsnü Kapar replaced Escobar Maya. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svante Lekberg in the 56th minute of play forced Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Marcelino Lacalle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hüsnü Kapar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Marcelino Lacalle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilio Garcia in the 61st minute. In the 71st minute Bento Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Lacalle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilio Garcia in the 72nd minute of the match. Hüsnü Kapar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelino Lacalle firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 74th minute, Wasyl Deput hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patric Sandwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Aleixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gençlerbirliği were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Audaz FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanislaw Rekowski took the corner. The corner led Gençlerbirliği's Constantijn Airpoel to fire away a dangerous shot which Patric Sandwall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Gençlerbirliği's Marcelino Lacalle got control of the ball when Hüsnü Kapar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelino Lacalle made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Svante Lekberg sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Gençlerbirliği's Filiph Låsberg got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, Audaz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Anuncibay to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Audaz FC's Serginho Chulapa got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 93 minutes, Bento Aleixo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Audaz FC's Patric Sandwall tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bento Aleixo in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patric Sandwall saved Audaz FC from getting behind. Gençlerbirliği's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
