Zijdewind SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köping the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Zijdewind SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Köping:s goal. The goalkeeper, Mario Klompe, was totally fooled by Köping's Alex Lidström, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 13 minutes into the match, Adrian Brander notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe. Mario Klompe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Mario Klompe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Adrian Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Klompe made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Adrian Brander sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Blængur Guðbjarnason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blængur Guðbjarnason in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Klompe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Klompe made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Blængur Guðbjarnason sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Brander struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Mario Klompe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Köping. In the 38th match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastiaan Schattenberg to maneuver through the defense. Köping's Adrian Brander got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Adrian Brander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mario Klompe, 3-0. If Adrian Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Lidström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Arjan van Zijp came free, but Jens Bohlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Köping's Adrian Brander got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Klompe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Brander in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zijdewind SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eddie Viklund was slow to take the kick. During this time Köping's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Blængur Guðbjarnason heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mario Klompe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Brander went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Elliott Bredberg kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Zijdewind SC were awarded a corner. Daniël De Leeuw went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Zijdewind SC's corner Daniël De Leeuw fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jens Bohlin quite easily take care of the ball. Mario Klompe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zijdewind SC's zone, Alex Lidström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Klompe came out of the goal and Alex Lidström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute Adrian Brander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Brander came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Adrian Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Brander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Köping's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
