Modesto Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Quaresma in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Diego Eterno's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Dobrea came free, but Modesto Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Besim Orgen managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Diego Eterno's Ni De Yun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Modesto Santikurtz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Codrin Dobrea's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Codrin Dobrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Baysal Temizsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kulp's supporters rose to their feet, but Baysal Temizsoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Santikurtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Diego Eterno getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Diego Armando Lio hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Diego Eterno's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Alfonso came free, but Modesto Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kulp fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Kulp's Codrin Dobrea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ni De Yun in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Besim Orgen saved Kulp from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baysal Temizsoy in the 35th minute of play forced Diego Eterno's goalkeeper Modesto Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Codrin Dobrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Diego Eterno's zone, Ricardo Quaresma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Santikurtz came out of the goal and Ricardo Quaresma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes, Danilo Mano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diego Eterno and the Kulp players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Diego Eterno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Mano to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Kulp got a freekick which was hit by Saip Cengaver. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
David Cefero hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Codrin Dobrea had several of the Diego Eterno's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Modesto Santikurtz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Danilo Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Pavel Nedvěd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Danilo Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Codrin Dobrea came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Kulp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Dobrea couldn't finish the play. Codrin Dobrea hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Radomil Soliwoda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Kulp were awarded a corner. Baysal Temizsoy went to the cornerflag to take it. Modesto Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Soliwoda in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Diego Eterno's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Alfonso came free, but Modesto Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match Kulp got a corner. Diego Eterno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baysal Temizsoy ran over to the corner to take the kick. 83 minutes in the game, Ernesto Alfonso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Modesto Santikurtz having to interfere. Besim Orgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ni De Yun in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codrin Dobrea in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Santikurtz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Diego Eterno booed when Kulp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Energin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Ni De Yun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kulp's Besim Orgen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Codrin Dobrea could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Modesto Santikurtz however easily saved by the left post. In the 95thth minute of the game Ni De Yun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kulp's Besim Orgen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kulp players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
