In the 39th minute Eilif Stavrum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Ellehauge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Dampsaga's Kristen Gulskov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FK Dampsaga from getting a goal against them. Ronald Ellehauge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Dyrstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
