The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nikita Gudkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marc van Nistelrooij went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jan Bette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Casper Tinselboer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veniamin Markov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bram Kiewit having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veniamin Markov got free with Bram Kiewit in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Fargo SC's goalkeeper Bram Kiewit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aybar Bayezit. After 15 played minutes Aybar Bayezit rounded Fargo SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Siekierka in the 21st minute of play forced Unica FC's goalkeeper Nikita Gudkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Fargo SC's Bram Kiewit got control of the ball when Veniamin Markov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bram Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veniamin Markov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Unica FC were awarded a corner. Aybar Bayezit went to the cornerflag to take it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Fargo SC's Ciriaco Maule was substituted for Jan Bette. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arkadiusz Siekierka made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Unica FC were awarded a corner. Aybar Bayezit went to the cornerflag to take it. Nikita Gudkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Siekierka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Veniamin Markov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bram Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Unica FC were awarded a corner. Aybar Bayezit went to the cornerflag to take it. 63 minutes into the match, Fargo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Veniamin Markov came free, but Bram Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Unica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Siekierka came free, but Nikita Gudkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes, Virgilio Mangas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fargo SC and the Unica FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Unica FC booed when Fargo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Mangas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unica FC's Oleg Efremov was substituted for Sevastyan Lemeshevskiy. In the 87th minute, Virgilio Mangas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aybar Bayezit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Katarínus Reitsma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fargo SC and the Unica FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Fargo SC got a freekick which was hit by Katarínus Reitsma. In the 96th minute, Oleg Efremov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unica FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
