Deportivo Craques fc's attentive Paul Floridong managed to snatch the ball when Leopoldo Palmeira made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Giuseppe Silveira made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Cristiano Messi sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Giuseppe Silveira made a huge save. Corinthians's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jiang Yi Chong in the 37th minute. Giuseppe Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacy Kinic in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Corinthians were awarded a corner. Jiang Yi Chong went to the cornerflag to take it. Giuseppe Silveira made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cristiano Messi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Craques fc's 程鸿奕 got a free kick in the 47th minute. Deportivo Craques fc made a substitution. Valdo Lucas replaced Van Nistelrooy. Sidnei Vergílio got his second yellow card in the match during the 49th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jiang Yi Chong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kiril Biradzhiev struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Giuseppe Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giuseppe Silveira was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Craques fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giuseppe Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corinthians fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Craques fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
