Fargo SC's Bram Kiewit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Fargo SC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifaco Sovera got free with Bram Kiewit in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beltza Morell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc van Nistelrooij in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Fargo SC booed when ATLETICO HUILA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Pablo Segovia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Casper Tinselboer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beltza Morell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th match minute, Fargo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katarínus Reitsma to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timeteo Hernani in the 21st minute of play forced Fargo SC's goalkeeper Bram Kiewit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ATLETICO HUILA F.C's Bonifaco Sovera got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc van Nistelrooij in the 25th minute of play forced ATLETICO HUILA F.C's goalkeeper Beltza Morell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jur Reitsma kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Fargo SC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Luz. When Klaas Gronden fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fargo SC's protests and gave Klaas Gronden a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fargo SC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Klaas Gronden hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Timeteo Hernani managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETICO HUILA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Timeteo Hernani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bram Kiewit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifaco Sovera got free with Bram Kiewit in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Fargo SC made a substitution. Ciriaco Maule replaced Jan Bette. The wind increased when Bonifaco Sovera made the kick off in the second half. Bram Kiewit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txeru Errasti in the 61st minute of play. Marc van Nistelrooij came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beltza Morell could save by the left post. A collision led to ATLETICO HUILA F.C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bilbo Frecha hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Arkadiusz Siekierka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fargo SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jur Reitsma hit a great ball. Pedro Augusto Luz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bonifaco Sovera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute Timeteo Hernani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bram Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fargo SC's Virgilio Mangas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Beltza Morell. That made the score 0-2 after 78 minutes of play. Bonifaco Sovera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bram Kiewit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Bram Kiewit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timeteo Hernani in the 84th minute of the match. Bram Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timeteo Hernani, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Maule during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciriaco Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, ATLETICO HUILA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txeru Errasti to maneuver through the defense. Beltza Morell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Maule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txeru Errasti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Kiewit having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see ATLETICO HUILA F.C lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
