Van Nistelrooy started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Tales Lucas made a precise shot to the right of Giuseppe Silveira. Deportivo Craques fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tales Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Craques fc's Dario Acosta got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, ReyPoxo's Tales Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giuseppe Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Giuseppe Silveira came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by ReyPoxo's Tales Lucas. But to his dismay, Tales Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Tales Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind ReyPoxo's goalkeeper Zoilo Coira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albano Hegoi in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Silveira saved Deportivo Craques fc from getting behind. 32 minutes in the game Niceto Gai did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tales Lucas. Tales Lucas scored 0-5 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giuseppe Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Craques fc's Dario Acosta got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Albano Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Lucas in the 47th minute of play. After the first half ReyPoxo were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Deportivo Craques fc's Valdo Lucas was substituted for Van Nistelrooy. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tales Lucas was the one to do the kick off. Anatolio Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tales Lucas took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giuseppe Silveira. Giuseppe Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Craques fc's goalkeeper Giuseppe Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ReyPoxo's Samuel Etoo was substituted for Tales Lucas. Deportivo Craques fc made a substitution. Gilvan Porto replaced Dario Acosta. 70 minutes into the game, Rolando Mingo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Craques fc's Jimeno Urritz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Etoo in the 78th minute of play forced Deportivo Craques fc's goalkeeper Giuseppe Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ReyPoxo's Samuel Etoo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Deportivo Craques fc's goalkeeper Giuseppe Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Etoo. Samuel Etoos short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Giuseppe Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. ReyPoxo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leif Larsen in the 96th minute. ReyPoxo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
