After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg got a free kick in the 15th minute. Guaparo FC's Zlatan Dimitriev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Guaparo FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Bom in the 19th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Guaparo FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Vidal. In the 27th minute of the match, Sigvard Biörnberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zlatan Dimitriev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 45 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Per Stenberg. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Fagerberg made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Biörnberg in the 54th minute of play forced Guaparo FC's goalkeeper Zlatan Dimitriev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Guaparo FC booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Ahlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Per Stenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rönnöfors FF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Guaparo FC to win.
