After a rather tough play, Galapagos Islands FC's Frankie Flambard got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute, Galapagos Islands FC's Frankie Flambard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Frankie Flambard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Galapagos Islands FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Frankie Flambard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Galapagos Islands FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sconvols United:s goal. Alvaro Marchesani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgün Hatip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Marchesani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvart Biegel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Alvaro Marchesani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigvart Biegel went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 25 minutes of play, Galapagos Islands FC's Özgün Hatip made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Marchesani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anthon Karlsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giannis Chatziioannou in the 32nd minute. Giannis Chatziioannou's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Anthon Karlsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anthon Karlsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 41st minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Anthon Karlsson was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Giannis Chatziioannou capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giannis Chatziioannou really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özgün Hatip to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Marchesani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Möller in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galapagos Islands FC's goalkeeper Anthon Karlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Özgün Hatip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Marchesani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Galapagos Islands FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Chatziioannou came free, but Anthon Karlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sconvols United getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Guido D'Angelo hit a great ball. Niklas Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Marchesani having to interfere. The supporters of Sconvols United booed when Galapagos Islands FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgün Hatip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Möllers short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Alvaro Marchesani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Sconvols United support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
