In the 15th minute, Gedeon Káposztás left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Papão de WC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19th minute, Gedeon Káposztás made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Republica Ploiești's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 26th minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gedeon Káposztás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grêmio Papão de WC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Republica Ploiești's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Selman Pektaşi took the corner. The corner led Grêmio Papão de WC's Selman Pektaşi to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Lăcătuș despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selman Pektaşi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Republica Ploiești defense, Gedeon Káposztás kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. The Republica Ploiești fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Lăcătuș should have stopped the shot. After 42 minutes, Gedeon Káposztás made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gedeon Káposztás took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Firea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Gedeon Káposztás recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Lăcătuș. Gedeon Káposztás showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Gedeon Káposztás took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After having played for 63 minutes, Gedeon Káposztás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Papão de WC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gedeon Káposztás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 66th minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Cezar Costeiantu in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Grêmio Papão de WC's Niklas Molander. Selman Pektaşi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás. But to his dismay, Gedeon Káposztás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Grêmio Papão de WC's Laércio Travassos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cezar Costeiantu in the 73 minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Gedeon Káposztás notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gedeon Káposztás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Lăcătuș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Republica Ploiești's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Gedeon Káposztás scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Lăcătuș, making the score, 0-13. Codrin Traianescu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 0-14 became the score in the 85th minute when Gedeon Káposztás elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. In the 93rd minute, Luiz Paulo Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Grêmio Papão de WC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Republica Ploiești throughout the match.
