After 10 minutes, Igor Cavalera made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sjötorp IF's Roger Fagrell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Roger Fagrell came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera. But to his dismay, Igor Cavalera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alysson Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Rola in the 17th minute. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Thomas Lang hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Décio Rola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alysson Rezende, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sjötorp IF's zone, João Barone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Fagrell came out of the goal and João Barone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Igor Cavalera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ogro F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Cavalera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Fagrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Andreas Andreasson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Igor Cavalera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Cavalera in the 38th minute of the match. If Igor Cavalera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Fagrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Décio Rola made the kick off in the second half. Igor Cavalera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Fagrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. When Igor Cavalera came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Ogro F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Cavalera couldn't finish the play. Igor Cavalera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Roger Fagrell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Igor Cavaleras short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Roger Fagrell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ogro F.C.'s Mike Mangini was substituted for Dan Zimmermann. With an all-out effort, Ogro F.C.'s Roger Fagrell threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jerônimo Vergílio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 81st minute of the match Ogro F.C. got a corner. Sjötorp IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerônimo Vergílio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ogro F.C.'s corner Mike Mangini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roger Fagrell quite easily take care of the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Poreda to maneuver through the defense. Marco Minnemann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Fagrell came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Minnemann slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 91st minute.
