Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin got the match started through his kick off. Ian Nogueira came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeraldas S.C.'s Damian Maftei. But to his dismay, Damian Maftei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 11th minute Damian Maftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Maftei in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Stefanos Terzopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esmeraldas S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willy Reynolds in the 21st minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Ian Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willy Reynolds took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Nogueira. Ian Nogueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, FC BARCELONA's Jan-Pieter De Poorter got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Bitze got free with Aguinaga Nebot in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martinez Cines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin with Faustino Ferrando as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. FC BARCELONA were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Esmeraldas S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yetkiner Refah took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Faustino Ferrando got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aguinaga Nebot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Willy Reynolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Ferrando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Aguinaga Nebot made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Stefanos Terzopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmeraldas S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Stefanos Terzopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Maftei made a kick off. If Damian Maftei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefanos Terzopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Nogueira having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gaston Bitze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aguinaga Nebot was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Esmeraldas S.C. were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after FC BARCELONA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stefanos Terzopoulos took the corner. When Esmeraldas S.C.'s Damian Maftei in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BARCELONA's goalie prevented a goal. Willy Reynolds could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ian Nogueira made a huge save. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC BARCELONA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stefanos Terzopoulos was slow to take the kick. During this time Esmeraldas S.C.'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Yan Zhou Xuan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 78 minutes into the match, Stefanos Terzopoulos notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC BARCELONA's Ian Nogueira. Ian Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Ian Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willy Reynolds. In the 87th minute, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Damian Maftei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Ian Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Stefanos Terzopoulos sent off a good shot on target. The Esmeraldas S.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Esmeraldas S.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
