Crottos Crotters F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Maftei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Willy Reynolds took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Mercurio. Freddy Mercurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Martinez Cines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Mercurio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Willy Reynolds came free, but Freddy Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Crottos Crotters F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Paublo to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Esmeraldas S.C.'s corner Stefanos Terzopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Freddy Mercurio quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Freddy Mercurio got control of the ball when Damian Maftei tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Crottos Crotters F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Esmeraldas S.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Esmeraldas S.C..
