Nacional de Rolândia's Victor Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Fanuco in the 13th minute of play. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Berserkers FC Ψ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 23rd minute of play forced Nacional de Rolândia's goalkeeper Victor Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nacional de Rolândia getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Murillo Arce hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Juan-Ramón Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Juan-Ramón Verón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Jaen in the 33rd minute of play. Juan-Ramón Verón might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan-Ramón Verón ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Ramón Verón in the 35th minute of play. Juan-Ramón Verón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Ramón Verón in the 40th minute of the match. The corner ended in Silvestre Fanuco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nacional de Rolândia's Victor Negri did a great save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan-Ramón Verón made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Nacional de Rolândia's Gilberto Furtado got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional de Rolândia's zone, Juan Ignacio Circelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Negri came out of the goal and Juan Ignacio Circelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute of the match, Elvio Ted got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victor Negri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Berserkers FC Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iosif Budulea in the 85th minute. The corner ended in Merih Güdeş almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nacional de Rolândia's Victor Negri did a great save. If Elvio Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Ignacio Circelli got free with Victor Negri in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Berserkers FC Ψ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
