ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benny Rüdiger ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Styrbjörn Nilsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro did a great save. 21 minutes into the match, Bengt-Arne Åberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Billy Ek. Slipmaskinerna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Arne Åberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peanut Lord got free with Serafin Cesaro in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Billy Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Antonin Laruelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Ek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Arne Åberg's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute, Styrbjörn Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafin Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Rüdiger in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Peanut Lord made the kick off in the second half. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peanut Lord in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Stig-Åke Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Peanut Lord came free, but Serafin Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Peanut Lord made a precise shot to the right of Serafin Cesaro. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. made a substitution. Fernando Bot replaced Aaron Min. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s César Bustamante was substituted for Marco Ruben. Slipmaskinerna made a substitution. Peng Yao replaced Antonin Laruelle. Serafin Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peanut Lord in the 77th minute of play. Slipmaskinerna's Gustav Larsfelt was substituted for Jordi Alba. The throw-in from Zbigniew Hejza in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Slipmaskinerna's Peng Yao. Slipmaskinerna's attentive Peng Yao managed to snatch the ball when Queto Bull made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. César Bustamante in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Billy Ek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Bot in the 91st minute. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Fernando Bot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Billy Ek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Billy Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Onbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Per Magnusson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slipmaskinerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Slipmaskinerna fully deserved thier win.
