Ersin Uyguralp ran over to the corner to take the kick. 1948 MKS's Ersin Uyguralp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ralondo Barboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to AFC Viola Gigliati getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Etxahun Domao hit a great ball. 1948 MKS's Ersin Uyguralp couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AFC Viola Gigliati. A collision led to 1948 MKS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Austin Deery hit a great ball. Ter Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santio Marco's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. AFC Viola Gigliati's Ciriaco Cañaveral got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Ilazki Esquivel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 21 minutes, Eoghan Barrett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1948 MKS and the AFC Viola Gigliati players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Eoghan Barrett got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 23 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's Enrico Cicero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ter Stegen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ralondo Barboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaby Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when AFC Viola Gigliati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elorri Palmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dunixi Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ter Stegen having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Dawayne McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dunixi Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnaby Rogers made a kick off. After some careless play in the AFC Viola Gigliati defense, Barnaby Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralondo Barboa. The AFC Viola Gigliati fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralondo Barboa should have stopped the shot. Robert McCready's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralondo Barboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Austin Deery got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes 1948 MKS got a freekick which was hit by Austin Deery. Enrico Cicero struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ter Stegen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Viola Gigliati. In the 69th minute 1948 MKS were awarded a corner. Ersin Uyguralp went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led 1948 MKS's Ersin Uyguralp to fire away a dangerous shot which Ralondo Barboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save 1948 MKS from getting a goal against them. 1948 MKS's Dawayne McJohnny got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Dawayne McJohnny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralondo Barboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrico Cicero went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to 1948 MKS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ersin Uyguralp hit a great ball. Ralondo Barboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawayne McJohnny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eoghan Barrett was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. In the 95th match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eoghan Barrett to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dunixi Bueno got free with Ter Stegen in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
