AMAZON DU DAHOMEY were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Matheu City FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mustafa Arif İmruz took the corner. Matt Newby was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Carlos Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Minas Makris in the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Minas Makris in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Romero saved AMAZON DU DAHOMEY from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minas Makris in the 18th minute of play forced AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalkeeper Carlos Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Cristian Tuste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Rozarius in the 24th minute of play forced AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalkeeper Carlos Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Matheu City FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Jenaro. In the 34th minute, Robinho Salgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matheu City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Chanai Snow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Celedonio Eguen made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Tuste came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matheu City FC's Vicente Marin got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Matheu City FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robinho Salgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Minas Makris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Chanai Snow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Blas Rozarius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Romero. Blas Rozarius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 65th minute Minas Makris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY made a substitution. Timothy Dennison replaced Cristian Tuste. Carlos Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Marin in the 78th minute of play forced AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalkeeper Carlos Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Vicente Marin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Carlos Romero did a great save. Matheu City FC's attentive Mariano Egoitz managed to snatch the ball when Fabián Ruiz made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Mustafa Arif İmruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Rozarius succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 92nd playminute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Matheu City FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
