Cayetano Rito made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Blas Rozarius sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito got control of the ball when Minas Makris tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dieguinho Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ruy Carneiro made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dieguinho Amaral however managed to control. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minas Makris in the 27th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robinho Salgado was the one to do the kick off. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Salgado in the 51st minute of play. Ruperto Serafo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cayetano Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matheu City FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Marin in the 57th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Ruperto Serafo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Matheu City FC were awarded a corner. Ruperto Serafo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ruperto Serafo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito did a great save. In the 92nd minute, Robinho Salgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matheu City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Matheu City FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
