David Bitănescu hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Armada's Róbert Benkó sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Rito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Armada were awarded a corner. He Wei Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. David Bitănescu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ruy Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armada's Vali Caramarin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sérgio Gonçalves, made in the 30th minute of the game. Armada's Cristi Miheș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Amaral in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Róbert Benkó cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cayetano Rito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Paulopolis booed when Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Bitănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbert Benkó scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Rito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Róbert Benkó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristi Miheș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Amaral in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Armada's Filomeno Igon was substituted for Róbert Benkó. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Igon was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Henrique Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Paulopolis's Maurício Motta was substituted for Marcel Vieira. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paulopolis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. He Wei Feng was slow to take the kick. During this time Armada's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Armada's corner He Wei Feng fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cayetano Rito quite easily take care of the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Filomeno Igon notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dieguinho Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Filomeno Igon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cayetano Rito. That made the score 0-6 in the 82 minute of play. Amine Barka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Rito having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Filomeno Igon notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
