Wang Cheng had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabián Ruiz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wang Cheng made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Chanai Snow sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Mustafa Arif İmruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chanai Snow in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wang Cheng saved Gärsnäs BF from getting behind. Wang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chanai Snow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Tuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wang Cheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play.
