Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Ödman in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lyle Coppack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lyle Coppack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Ödman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Ödman came free, but Lyle Coppack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maciej Brzeszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Stolniceanu in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Luiz Fábio Guimarães put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maciej Brzeszczak. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely had played much better football throughout.
