Patras F.C.'s Anastasios Politakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. from getting a goal against them. Frans Billström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Stathakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Linus Stenqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's Martin Lang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasios Politakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Martin Lang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anastasios Politakis. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akis Stathakis in the 21st minute of play forced Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Frans Billström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Linus Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Anastasios Politakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Linus Stenqvist put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anastasios Politakis. Anastasios Politakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Lang in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s goalkeeper Anastasios Politakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Lang. Linus Stenqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Frans Billström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lazaros Serdaris went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Tallboda Gunners's Robin Nordlund managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Akis Christatos in the 44 minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's Linus Stenqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasios Politakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s zone, Martin Lang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasios Politakis came out of the goal and Martin Lang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Tallboda Gunners were awarded a corner. Peter Skytt went to the cornerflag to take it. After 57 played minutes P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Akis Christatos. Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazaros Serdaris in the 71st minute of play. Tallboda Gunners were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Skytt took the corner. 76 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Ahlbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Anastasios Politakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Ahlbom in the 79th minute of play forced P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s goalkeeper Anastasios Politakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Holger Berg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anastasios Politakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 80 minutes, Holger Berg made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Anastasios Politakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anestis Kolofotias hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Ahlbom in the 89th minute of play forced P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s goalkeeper Anastasios Politakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Karl-Erik Ahlbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Anastasios Politakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Panagiotis Lazaratos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tallboda Gunners's Erling Walroth quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. There was no doubt that Tallboda Gunners were the better team. Tallboda Gunners's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
