With a left leg Alfredo Santana saved Sporting Tuga FC from getting behind. Alfredo Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duško Turnšek's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Sporting Tuga FC's Lucius Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantin Pančur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Lucius Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Konstantin Pančur. HIT Gorica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 21st minute Lucius Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstantin Pančur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Monsanto went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Delmiro Lizbeth hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Patrício Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nasko Vitev hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match László Tar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Santana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Monsanto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Lucas Monsanto put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantin Pančur. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Sporting Tuga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The HIT Gorica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Tuga FC were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Figueiredo to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Duško Turnšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes Sporting Tuga FC got a freekick which was hit by Leal Vilela. If Zlatko Goričan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić was substituted for Duško Turnšek. Venancio Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Santana having to interfere. HIT Gorica's Richard Koštomaj was substituted for László Tar. A nice corner shot did that Istok Šabotić got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredo Santana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 76 minutes, Nasko Vitev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Tuga FC and the HIT Gorica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Koštomaj during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Richard Koštomaj hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Carlos Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sporting Tuga FC played a much better game than HIT Gorica and deserved their victory. The HIT Gorica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
