With a little luck, CemCeminay SK's Olov Zachrisson got control of the ball when Feijo Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Golden Tigers's Feijo Freire ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olov Zachrisson. Olov Zachrisson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Olov Zachrisson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feijo Freire showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feijo Freire in the 21st minute of play forced CemCeminay SK's goalkeeper Olov Zachrisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Zdeněk Šebestík heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Václav Petržela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Zachrisson having to interfere. A collision led to CemCeminay SK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zekai İksir hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feijo Freire in the 36th minute of play forced CemCeminay SK's goalkeeper Olov Zachrisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feijo Freire in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Zachrisson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olov Zachrisson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feijo Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ivan Rohlíček hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Augusto Trancoso made a kick off. Olov Zachrisson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feijo Freire's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Feijo Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olov Zachrisson was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 54thth minute of the game Feijo Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CemCeminay SK's Olov Zachrisson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feijo Freire in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Zachrisson saved CemCeminay SK from getting behind. CemCeminay SK's Olov Zachrisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feijo Freire in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute Václav Petržela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Zachrisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, CemCeminay SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğaner Tosun to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, CemCeminay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Feijo Freire came free, but Olov Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
