In the 41st minute of the match Ghost Hunters got a corner. KFC Cromvelde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan-Åke Melander ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Sousa in the 46th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Cromvelde's zone, Doriva Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Louis Van Bever came out of the goal and Doriva Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doriva Sousa to make the kick off. Dé 武松 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Victor Nyström in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KFC Cromvelde's Herman Frans. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Sousa in the 80th minute of play. Jean-Louis Van Bever didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ghost Hunters made a substitution. Shi Yan Lin replaced Henri-Patrick Grocholski. KFC Cromvelde made a substitution. Jochen Van den Panhuizen replaced Cosmin Contra. After having played for 89 minutes, Shi Yan Lin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghost Hunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Yan Lin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Doriva Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 minutes, 沈笑伟 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Cromvelde and the Ghost Hunters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's 沈笑伟 got a free kick in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KFC Cromvelde fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ghost Hunters had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
