In the 7th minute, one of Pepsi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pepsi FC. Thanks to some nice moves Hu Sheng Nan could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Wlodzimierz Osielski however easily saved by the left post. Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Stensson in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Pepsi FC booed when Shaolin soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Perkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Shaolin soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Stensson came free, but Wlodzimierz Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakarias Koch's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wlodzimierz Osielski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Christer Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Walczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Herbert Walczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christer Forsberg was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Stensson in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Herbert Walczyk's late challenge caught a Pepsi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 54th minute of the match Sakarias Koch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wlodzimierz Osielski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qi Sha Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Christer Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Lichorobiec in the 57th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Sheng Nan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pepsi FC's Allan Hedman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Pepsi FC's goalkeeper Christer Forsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miromir Lichorobiec. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qi Sha Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Wlodzimierz Osielski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Sheng Nan in the 77th minute of play. Pepsi FC made a substitution. Anacleto Cutberto replaced Sture Stensson. Miromir Lichorobiec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Sheng Nan in the 89th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Miromir Lichorobiec sent off a good shot on target. Miromir Lichorobiecs short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Christer Forsberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Shaolin soccer players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
