Esteban Dreer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Lichorobiec in the 28th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbert Walczyk to make the kick off. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Hägele, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Lichorobiec got free with Esteban Dreer in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Noel Hägele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute Noel Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Osielski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Miromir Lichorobiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shaolin soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Miromir Lichorobiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Dreer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to GALACTICOS getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dino Teles hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Dreer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Miromir Lichorobiec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Dreer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Lucjan Siekierski fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shaolin soccer's protests and gave Lucjan Siekierski a yellow card for diving instead. Lucjan Siekierski kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GALACTICOS's Andrés Hong got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Miromir Lichorobiec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Esteban Dreer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
