When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cyryl Banan sped through Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogério Mello. 沛水龙城's Antoni Dawiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Fonseca in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes 沛水龙城's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isaltino Fonseca who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Isaltino Fonseca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 沛水龙城's Antoni Dawiec did a great save. Cyryl Banan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rogério Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Banan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Fonseca got free with Antoni Dawiec in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoni Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Massa in the 29th minute of play. Cyryl Banan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Banan in the 33rd minute of play forced Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's goalkeeper Rogério Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, 沛水龙城's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Massa came free, but Antoni Dawiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyryl Banan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Mello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaltino Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Rogério Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Banan in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Dawiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobbo Breitner in the 56th minute of the match. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Isaltino Fonseca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antoni Dawiec in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
