After a defensive mix-up in Xurupita FC's zone, Dadá de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Coelho came out of the goal and Dadá de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Albertinho de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Emerson Jacaré dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Narciso Mota, 2-0. Narciso Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Jacaré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lilian Vântu made a kick off. When Dadá de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.R. FLANALDO's protests and gave Dadá de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, C.R. FLANALDO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
