Librado Pamperin was slow to take the kick. During this time Wolverhampton's players had a chance to rest. Valentim Castilho hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wolverhampton getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Per-Oskar Ahlstedt hit a great ball. With his leg Salvador Sordo managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Wolverhampton's Sotiris Koupepes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sotiris Koupepes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sotiris Koupepes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Sordo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Thomas Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Colaço in the 27th minute of play. Åke Söderqwist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Salvador Sordo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eureka's Salvador Sordo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Almkvist in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Armindo Barcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Sotiris Koupepes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Salvador Sordo to make any attempt to save it. Edmund Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Sordo having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Laureano Portugal made the kick off in the second half. Salvador Sordo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Almkvist went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sotiris Koupepes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Sordo having to interfere. Wolverhampton made a substitution. Kang Hong Zhan replaced Librado Pamperin. Åke Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Barcelos in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Eureka's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Söderqwist came free, but Salvador Sordo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Sordo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Söderqwist in the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Dário Colaço took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Thomas Runeberg to make any attempt to save it. Salvador Sordo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotiris Koupepes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Sotiris Koupepes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Sordo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
