Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Apolo Irigoyen kicked off to start the match. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Eureka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Renato Goycolea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salvador Sordo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Henry Tucknott successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luís Barroso charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Barroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Eureka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Barroso to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Apolo Irigoyen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Salvador Sordo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Quintino Lobo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eureka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 27th minute, Laureano Portugal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Tucknott was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Laureano Portugal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Tucknott having to interfere. A collision led to Eureka getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Armindo Barcelos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Irigoyen in the 40th minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Eureka's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Irigoyen came free, but Salvador Sordo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Severo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Salvador Sordo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 46th minute of the match. Apolo Irigoyen took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Sordo. Salvador Sordo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.

When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Apolo Irigoyen sped through Eureka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Sordo. Belchior Valadão's late challenge caught a General Velásquez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belchior Valadão helped the player get up and apologised. Belchior Valadão hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. General Velásquez's Apolo Irigoyen got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Eureka getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Armindo Barcelos hit a great ball. Salvador Sordo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Irigoyen in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Eureka got a freekick which was hit by Dário Colaço. In the 67th minute, Jorge Vicente Squella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Valentim Castilho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salvador Sordo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Martin Švácha. Salvador Sordo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Irigoyen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Goycolea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Salvador Sordo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, General Velásquez's Apolo Irigoyen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in General Velásquez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Salvador Sordo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Jorge Vicente Squella sent off a good shot on target. Eureka's Salvador Sordo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Eureka from getting a goal against them. General Velásquez's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
