The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Lixandro got free with Marcial Lordi in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Eric Târban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pipo Benedetto struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Karl Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER. 39 minutes into the match, Wu Li Zhi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Björk. BraveHearts United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wu Li Zhi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a little luck, RIVER's Marcial Lordi got control of the ball when Sverker Rosén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and CJ Townsley made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Pipo Benedetto took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Karl Björk to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
