Eliseu Bragança came out of the goal and Daniel Roth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliks Dec made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Vedat Burçhan sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Rodolfo Montay made a precise shot to the right of Feliks Dec. Charmander City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Campus Douro Academy getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Victor Sousa hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jairo Gaufred managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charmander City's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Gaufred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Bragança breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliks Dec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vedat Burçhan in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Dedê Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Bragança saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliks Dec yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Peto to make the kick off. Feliks Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Montay in the 52nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Campus Douro Academy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
