When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Vedat Burçhan sped through Futuros FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Carlos Andrade. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Futuros FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Campus Douro Academy had controlled the match.
