The referee ignored Azulgranas AFC's protests and gave Michaël Myers a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Azulgranas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Michaël Myers. In the 11th minute, Özgür Özbek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bir Garip Oyun's Mert Günok proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Bir Garip Oyun from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarkko Laatikainen in the 16th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Leo Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Güler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mert Günok made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Juan Manuel Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Leo Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarkko Laatikainen in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Juan Manuel Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azulgranas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Manuel Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michaël Myers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Azulgranas AFC's Rosendo Paez got a free kick in the 40th minute. Leo Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbek in the 42nd minute of the match. Leo Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Güler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarkko Laatikainen's late challenge caught a Azulgranas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarkko Laatikainen helped the player get up and apologised. Jarkko Laatikainen kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Manuel Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Mert Günok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Manuel Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Azulgranas AFC's Radomir Naskrent quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ünal Betik, made in the 57th minute of the game. Radomir Naskrent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Henric made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arda Güler in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Bir Garip Oyun were awarded a corner. Berkem Mücip went to the cornerflag to take it. Bir Garip Oyun's Berkem Mücip was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leo Henric in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 75th minute, Jarkko Laatikainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Özgür Özbek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Berkem Mücip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bir Garip Oyun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azulgranas AFC the free kick. The supporters of Azulgranas AFC booed when Bir Garip Oyun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkem Mücip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Manuel Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mert Günok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lilko Grúmenov kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Azulgranas AFC from getting a goal against them.
