The TORQUE F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when TORQUE F.C.'s Tomás Cordarin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in TORQUE F.C.'s zone, Iwo Posadzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sébastien Frey came out of the goal and Iwo Posadzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Posadzki in the 24th minute of play forced TORQUE F.C.'s goalkeeper Sébastien Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UÅ Mästerbotten's Schubert Beckenbauer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Qian Di Lei, made in the 28th minute of the game. TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save TORQUE F.C. from getting a goal against them. TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Posadzki in the 36th minute of play. Sébastien Frey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwo Posadzki in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Iwo Posadzki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sébastien Frey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes in the game Sebastian Nánási did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Teobald Pyczkowski. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Dominik Klawki sped through UÅ Mästerbotten's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Magnus Ekrot. Sébastien Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Xabier in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eulalio Xabier in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sébastien Frey saved TORQUE F.C. from getting behind. Sébastien Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernández Fernández in the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
