Álvaro Perpiñán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Zubiaga in the 15th minute of the match. When Maurin Canturri came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sporting Burgas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurin Canturri couldn't finish the play. Baudilio Vicente might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Perpiñán. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The corner ended in Mac Aron almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hades Prímula's Domeka Lozano did a great save.
