An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 2nd minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Martxelin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Bastos having to make a save. David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Martxelin in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 8th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes AM United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was César Pretot who took care of the corner kick. In the 14th match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Novais to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Martxelin came free, but David Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Alejandro Martxelin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capo de Provincia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Epifanío Mejia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. David Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 21st minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Capo de Provincia were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after AM United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. César Pretot took the corner. Teodoro Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's César Pretot got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Freire came free, but Héctor Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Nikos Christou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 37th minute of play. When Alejandro Martxelin came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Capo de Provincia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Martxelin couldn't finish the play. Angelo Pessoa's late challenge caught a Capo de Provincia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Pessoa helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Pessoa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Freire to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Martxelin in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Bastos saved AM United from getting behind. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alejandro Martxelin sped through AM United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Bastos. A collision led to AM United getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nikos Christou hit a great ball. Alejandro Martxelin scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Héctor Barra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Freire went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Capo de Provincia's David Villa was substituted for Christiano Cabañas. Teodoro Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Héctor Barra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Villa in the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's Luis Jiménez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Bastos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
