Chumo Palmero started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Notts County BR getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Frank de Salles hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes FC Ruh Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Myroslav Akymenko. Chumo Palmero scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio César, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Júlio César showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 18th minute of the match. Júlio César stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Myroslav Akymenko's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Notts County BR got a freekick which was hit by Luo Mo Ming. Ainar Põld struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Marcelo Barovero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Notts County BR. After some careless play in the Notts County BR defense, Chumo Palmero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio César. The Notts County BR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio César should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC Ruh Lviv getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Vyacheslav Androsenko hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, FC Ruh Lviv's Chumo Palmero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio César made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Danylo Lobanovsjkyi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Notts County BR booed when FC Ruh Lviv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mon Manzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Júlio César made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chumo Palmero in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Ulysses Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio César was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vyacheslav Androsenko. Júlio César made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 58th minute of play. Chumo Palmero had several of the Notts County BR's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Júlio César as he didn't even see the shot coming. 67 minutes into the game, Myroslav Akymenko lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Júlio César. Frank de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Duda Vargas made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Notts County BR's Rodrigo Marques. After 76 minutes, Vyacheslav Androsenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ruh Lviv and the Notts County BR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Notts County BR booed when FC Ruh Lviv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vyacheslav Androsenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Notts County BR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, FC Ruh Lviv's Vyacheslav Androsenko got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Júlio César. Júlio César showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 82nd minute of the match. Chumo Palmeros short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Júlio César to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the final whistle sounded FC Ruh Lviv left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Notts County BR.
