The audience thought a goal was coming when Sefa Danış got free with Raşit Özdilek in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, F.C Alex Bucuresti's Ştefan Staicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorien Vilela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 27 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Dragomir Krachanov. Vänge IF's Lorien Vilela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Staicu in the 33rd minute of play. F.C Alex Bucuresti were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Vänge IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zak Soon took the corner. Raşit Özdilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Vallengren in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Babeș came free, but Lorien Vilela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Sefa Danış was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vänge IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Alex Bucuresti the free kick. After 38 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Sefa Danış. After 39 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Vallengren. Gabriel-Omar Batistuta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lorien Vilela. Vänge IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Raşit Özdilek managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Vänge IF's Sefa Danış fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sefa Danış managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vänge IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sefa Danış was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raşit Özdilek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorien Vilela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余海晨 in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Vali Piersic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vänge IF made a substitution. Sven Caspersson replaced Andy Lackmann. After 48 played minutes F.C Alex Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Vali Piersic. Sefa Danış recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half F.C Alex Bucuresti were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Malcolm Skark made a kick off. The supporters of F.C Alex Bucuresti booed when Vänge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goalkeeper Lorien Vilela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 余海晨. Sefa Danış recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raşit Özdilek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sefa Danış in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C Alex Bucuresti's goalkeeper Raşit Özdilek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Malcolm Skark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Martinsson's late challenge caught a F.C Alex Bucuresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Martinsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Viktor Martinsson hit a great ball. The supporters of F.C Alex Bucuresti booed when Vänge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragomir Krachanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 余海晨 in the 75th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Lorien Vilela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Dragomir Krachanov. Zak Soon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raşit Özdilek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sefa Danış's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Gigel Caba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorien Vilela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Skark. F.C Alex Bucuresti's Ştefan Staicu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 余海晨 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorien Vilela having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded F.C Alex Bucuresti left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vänge IF.
