Martin Abadia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Collins in the 12th minute of the match. Moises Luzea in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Árpád Mészáros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Los Piratas FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Los Piratas FC's Moises Luzea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Moises Luzea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Árpád Mészáros came out and tried to block the shot, but Moises Luzea slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 26th minute. Árpád Mészáros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Ospin in the 44th minute of the match. Árpád Mészáros stood somewhat misplaced when Candido Ospin came free in front of goal and shot 4-2 to the left of him in the 44 minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rob Sephiri was the one to do the kick off. Árpád Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Ospin in the 51st minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 54th minute, but Martin Abadia got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Los Piratas FC hanging dry this time. FC Johannesburg's Árpád Mészáros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Ospin in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute Candido Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árpád Mészáros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Los Piratas FC booed when FC Johannesburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Sephiri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Piratas FC's Alonzo Urbasa was substituted for Moises Luzea. A collision led to FC Johannesburg getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rob Sephiri hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, FC Johannesburg's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Urbasa came free, but Árpád Mészáros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Elliot Hultstrand managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 75th minute, Alonzo Urbasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Piratas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Los Piratas FC made a substitution. Silverio Truylos replaced Nicasio Pero. Silas Collins kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Hlamane Madiba hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Árpád Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 俞广扬 in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Zane Blumenthal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Johannesburg's goalkeeper Árpád Mészáros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ştefan Aluneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Urbasa struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Árpád Mészáros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Piratas FC. The Los Piratas FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Los Piratas FC's Alonzo Urbasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Los Piratas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
