Epeios Solomos started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Godholm got free with Sakis Kaladosis in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edwin Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6th minute 于永风 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Godholm struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Sakis Kaladosis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longobarda. 11 minutes into the match, Longobarda's goal looked a bit too open when Ilmo Jussilainen came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 于永风, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 魏枫宇 kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Aek athens's Sakis Kaladosis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Aek athens from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Longobarda's Manuel Zărnescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ilmo Jussilainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aek athens's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilmo Jussilainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 于永风, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edwin Godholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Sakis Kaladosis made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Longobarda's Frank Cherubini got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, 于永风 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lev Yashin. Longobarda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 于永风 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 40th minute Epeios Solomos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epeios Solomos in the 41st minute of the match. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilmo Jussilainen in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwin Godholm to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Aek athens's zone, Edwin Godholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakis Kaladosis came out of the goal and Edwin Godholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Epeios Solomos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lev Yashin. That made the score 2-2 in the 55 minute of play. With a little luck, Longobarda's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Ilmo Jussilainen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Aek athens booed when Longobarda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Ilmo Jussilainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aek athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilmo Jussilainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute of the game Grzegorz Chazon made a throw-in which Simeon Akrivopoulos played forward. Florian Cocca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Longobarda made a substitution. Davide Moscatelli replaced Frank Cherubini. Aek athens made a substitution. Aglauros Passas replaced Akheloos Phocas. Aek athens's Elliot Lenberg was substituted for Epeios Solomos. Aek athens's attack was well implemented in the 83rd minute, but when Elliot Lenberg was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Grzegorz Chazon made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Longobarda's Manuel Zărnescu. Edwin Godholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sakis Kaladosis having to make a save. The throw-in from Grzegorz Chazon in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Longobarda's Manuel Zărnescu. In the 94th minute, Fabiano Canzano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Lenberg in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Longobarda had won after a very even match.
