Davide Moscatelli kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The long shot by Xaiver Jacolet in the 20th minute really tested Lev Yashin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Cocca in the 43rd minute of play forced No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper De-Jesús Cardon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Longobarda's goalkeeper Lev Yashin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samaniego Corel. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samaniego Corel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Riba's late challenge caught a No Me Inscriban Gracias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lev Yashin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Longobarda's Fabiano Canzano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that De-Jesús Cardon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Longobarda booed when No Me Inscriban Gracias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Valenciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, No Me Inscriban Gracias failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
