Santiago Cañizares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Peter Wright cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Wright couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Wright came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Cañizares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Wright in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Peter Wright left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bada Bing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Bada Bing Club's Carlo Domenici to fire away a dangerous shot which Santiago Cañizares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Bada Bing Club's Ünal Başar got control of the ball when Andrei Agulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Nueva Chicago booed when Bada Bing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aratz Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ünal Başar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郑誉真 in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Wright came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Konsel might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ünal Başar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Konsel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute, Joga Leve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 minutes Nueva Chicago's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toma Soda who took care of the corner kick. Toma Soda made a great header on Bada Bing Club's corner, it was just that Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Konsel to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. After taking down the ball on Bada Bing Club's corner Toma Soda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santiago Cañizares quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Chicago's zone, Sinforoso Noya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Cañizares came out of the goal and Sinforoso Noya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ünal Başar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 郑誉真, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Chicago from getting a goal against them. With his leg Santiago Cañizares managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Bada Bing Club's Peter Wright fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute Toma Soda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cañizares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nueva Chicago's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toma Soda was slow to take the kick. During this time Bada Bing Club's players had a chance to rest. 88 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Wright came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Peter Wright dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santiago Cañizares, 0-5. Peter Wright did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Santiago Cañizares 95 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Peter Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Cañizares was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Nueva Chicago fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bada Bing Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
