The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Armando Santirso got free with Haimar Sancho in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haimar Sancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mecnun Seha in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute, Olgierd Glapiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MarineerS MzC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Olgierd Glapiak hit a great ball. Club Atletico Huaco's Haimar Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Rydberg in the 31st minute of play. If Yoan Miloshev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MarineerS MzC's Carl Rundell got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Hilario Platon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Leicea skillfully saved the ball. Club Atletico Huaco's Haimar Sancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Huaco from getting a goal against them. Ciriaco Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Yoan Miloshev made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Huaco's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Santirso came free, but Haimar Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Gabriel Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kıvanç Balyemez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. MarineerS MzC's Carl Rundell got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Valentin Rydberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MarineerS MzC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
