Thanks to some nice moves Ionuț Corbu could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Edgar Ström however easily saved by the left post. In the 15th minute, Hisingen IK's Robert Gustavsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Robert Gustavsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hisingen IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Robert Gustavsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Robert Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Edgar Ström made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Marco Van Der Taelen sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in San Ciro Utd's zone, Ludwig Smedfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Beila came out of the goal and Ludwig Smedfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Van Der Taelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilhelm Bokelund hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Marco Van Der Taelen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar Ström. Marco Van Der Taelen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Hisingen IK made a substitution. Stig Säf replaced Ludwig Smedfeldt. With a little luck, Hisingen IK's Edgar Ström got control of the ball when Marco Van Der Taelen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Van Der Taelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casper Eckegren was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Opilano in the 57th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Edgar Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casper Eckegren got free with Epifanio Beila in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig Säf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Epifanio Beila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Ciro Utd's Grigor Beslimov got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Nemesio Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
